What areas do you work in?

We are based in Whangarei and work across Northland. Most of our projects are in and around Whangarei, but we regularly take on work throughout the wider region. Get in touch and we can talk through whether we are the right fit for your location.

What types of projects do you take on?

We specialise in three main areas: architectural new builds, residential renovations, and commercial construction. Within those we cover a wide range, from custom homes designed with an architect through to villa restorations, apartment blocks, and medical centres. If you are unsure whether your project fits, just ask.

Do I need an architect before I contact you?

Not necessarily. If you already have an architect or designer involved, we are happy to work alongside them from the early stages. If you are at the idea stage and have not engaged an architect yet, we can talk through the process and point you in the right direction before plans are drawn up.

How do I get a quote?

The first step is a conversation. We like to understand the scope of your project before we put anything in writing. Get in touch to arrange a consultation and we will go from there. For larger projects, a detailed quote is prepared once plans are available.

How long will my build take?

Every project is different, so timelines vary considerably. A straightforward renovation might take a few weeks, while a full architectural new build typically takes several months from breaking ground to handover. We will give you a realistic timeline upfront and keep you updated throughout the build if anything changes.

Do you handle building consents?

Consents are typically managed by the homeowner or their architect, but we work closely with both throughout the consenting process. Our team has a strong understanding of NZ building code, including NZS 3604 and E2 weathertightness requirements, which means inspections tend to go smoothly.

Are you Licensed Building Practitioners?

Yes. All our work is carried out by Licensed Building Practitioners. This is a legal requirement for restricted building work in New Zealand and gives you the assurance that your home is being built by qualified, accountable professionals.

Are you Registered Master Builders?

Yes. We are Registered Master Builders, which means our work meets a recognised standard of quality and professionalism. It also means eligible projects may qualify for a Master Build Guarantee. Ask us about this when we discuss your project.

How do you keep projects on budget?

We are upfront about costs from the start and we communicate clearly if anything comes up that could affect the budget during the build. We do everything we can to keep your project on track financially, and we will never spring surprises on you without a conversation first.

How do I get started?

The easiest way to get the ball rolling is to get in touch with our team. We will arrange a time to talk through your project and take it from there.
